My approach as a therapist is based on respect, empathy, sensitivity and honesty. I believe in the integration of the mind and body in order to create change, growth and healing. Most importantly, I value your awareness, knowledge and self-insight as an integral part of our work together. I use a dynamic approach to therapy and include cognitive behavioral and mindfulness techniques. At my BETA group practice, I work with clients across a wide range of ages, backgrounds and presenting issues, including depression, anxiety, jealousy, anger, panic, phobias, trauma, relationship/family conflicts and parenting challenges.

I have a specialized background in prenatal/postpartum issues, including miscarriage, abortion, infertility, birth trauma, baby blues and post-partum depression. My therapeutic knowledge in this area is informed by 6 years in the health field working as a birth and post-partum doula, massage therapist and reproductive health researcher.

Congratulations on taking steps towards getting the support that you need for whatever issues you are currently dealing with. The first step is the hardest, and it takes a lot of courage to do it. I look forward to hearing from you and supporting you on your path towards healing!
